Hello out there! It has been far too long since I've blogged a new session. My personal life has seen a crazy few weeks, but I think I have finally recovered from a 10 day trip and a move across town.
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing my first set of twins! Joshua and Bethany really gave me a run for my money. As hard as it was at times I can't deny how much I enjoyed holding and rocking these two. They were most content when they were being held in someone's arms, and I don't blame them with parents as sweet as Sam and Amy!
I was sure to capture both the calm and more stressful moments for these new parents. I know that typically we only think of portraits as showing happy moments, but Amy said that she wanted to capture the twins exactly as they were at this moment. I hope that by documenting the twins when they were a little fussy, these two can remember exactly what life was like those first few weeks. Life with newborns is such a blur, especially with twins! It's still important that we remember those moments that were less than perfect. I'm sure the twins will enjoy looking back on these photos one day as well!
I can't wait to watch these two cuties grow older. I am so happy for this family of four. Congratulations Sam and Amy on the birth of your son and daughter!
