Recently I met up with my good friend Maryn from Maryn Shreve Productions for some professional head shots. She recently took my professional head shots, so I was excited to return the favor! Professional head shots are one of my favorite types of sessions, and I really urge business owners to consider taking a more relaxed approach to their head shots. Though I do offer traditional head shots in my studio, I feel that having head shots taken outdoors, or at a location that is unique to your business really sets you apart from your competition. Gone are the days of head shots only being taken on a gray backdrop in studio. Though these types of portraits are necessary for certain means, why not have both done? LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media sites are the perfect places to display more relaxed head shots. This helps your prospective clients feel more connected to you on a personal basis before your first contact with these individuals occurs.
Maryn owns a full service multimedia production company and specializes in promotional and special event videography and photography. Her wedding and engagement videography work is especially amazing and I urge you to check her out if you or a friend is looking for someone to capture their wedding day or engagement in a timeless yet unique way.
Maryn and I met about a year ago now and have become very close since then. Bonding over both work and personal life similarities, she helped me to survive the last few months of my husband's deployment, and I am happy to say that she also recently welcomed her own fiance home from a deployment as well! I am so lucky to call this talented lady one of my closest friends.
